Marvel at a collection of paintings and sculptures started by Cardinal Scipione Borghese and housed in his party villa on the outskirts of 17th-century Rome with a skip-the-line ticket to the Borghese Gallery.

Considered one of the most important museums in Rome, the gallery is frequently fully booked and hard to access. Skip the long lines with your pre-reserved ticket and explore the Galleria Borghese's full-of-art 20 rooms. See artifacts from antiquity, including a mosaic of gladiators from 320-330 AD that was found on the Borghese estate at Torrenova. Learn more about the powerful Borghese family and their relationship with Napoleon in the 1800s.

Discover classical antiquities of the I-III centuries AD, such as the Venus Victrix sculpture and a trompe l'oeil ceiling fresco with a great 3D effect. Marvel at masterpieces such us the Paolina Borghese by Canova, paintings by Rubens and Tiziano, and many works by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. See early works by Bernini, like the Goat Amalthea with Infant Jupiter and Faun, along with his dynamic Rape of Proserpine, Apollo and Daphne, and statue of David.

Then, take a relaxing stroll through the Villa Borghese gardens, an enchanting park with little lakes and trees that is beloved by the Romans. A breathtaking view over the rooftops of Rome and Piazza del Popolo from the Pincio Terrace will be followed by a picnic of home-made organic food. Meet your pic-nic deliver in Piazza Bucarest, in front of the entrance of Casina Valadier (outside right look for a green and white vehicle "Vivi Picnic" or a guy with paper boxes) at 12:30pm. The baskets provided will be a joy for your eyes and your stomach. A vegetarian option is possible. Take your time to taste a delicious selection of Italian delicatessen and even have a restoring nap in the shade of one of the leafy trees if you feel the need to.

Redemption Instructions

The tour starts at 9am. Please send an e-mail to at least 24 hours beforehand to receive your pickup time. Hotel pickup may be as early as one hour prior to tour start time. Please be ready in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to the pickup time. If your hotel or accommodation is not served, please reach the I Love Rome office in via Vittorio Emanuele Orlando 95, opposite the Grand Hotel, Metro A Line, stop Repubblica.

If you booked the Tour without pickup, please meet no later than 15 minutes before the tour starts in Piazzale del Museo Borghese, near the entrance to the museum. Due to organizational reasons and in respest of those coming on time, it is not possible to wait for late arrivals
