After arriving in Bolzano, make your way to your centrally located hotel and enjoy the city at your own pace.

Your second day begins with free time to explore Bolzano's famous Christmas Markets. Wander through the beautifully decorated historic centre and discover traditional handicrafts, festive decorations and South Tyrolean specialties in the charming wooden chalets around Piazza Walther.

In the afternoon, join a small-group food and cultural walking tour through the historic centre. Your local guide will introduce you to Bolzano's history, Alpine traditions and culinary heritage while you sample authentic regional specialties. Tastings include local cold cuts and cheeses, traditional Christmas sweets, bruschette and Knoedel, accompanied by a drink of your choice and a traditional cup of mulled wine.

On your final morning, enjoy more free time to explore the Christmas Markets, shop for souvenirs or simply soak up the festive Alpine atmosphere before taking the high-speed train back to Rome

Day 1 – Rome > Bolzano
At the indicated time, make your way to Rome railway station for your high-speed train to Bolzano.
Upon arrival, make your own way to the hotel. Check in and begin exploring the festive atmosphere of South Tyrol at your own pace.
Overnight in Bolzano.

Day 2 – Bolzano
After breakfast, enjoy a free morning exploring Bolzano's Christmas Markets. Discover the decorated historic centre, browse traditional stalls and soak up the festive atmosphere around Piazza Walther.
At 3:50 PM, meet your local guide in front of Café Loacker, Piazza Walther 11, for a small-group food and cultural walking tour.
Discover Bolzano's history and Christmas traditions while sampling local specialties, including cold cuts and cheeses, Christmas sweets, bruschette and Knoedel. Tastings include a drink of your choice and traditional mulled wine.
The tour ends at approximately 6:30 PM. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Day 3 – Bolzano > Rome
Enjoy breakfast and a free morning for a final stroll through Bolzano's Christmas Markets. Shop for traditional souvenirs or enjoy a warm drink surrounded by the festive Alpine scenery.
At the indicated time, make your own way to Bolzano railway station for your high-speed train back to Rome.
