Customers must adhere to the assigned guide throughout the tour. External guides cannot be added to the group after purchase. Access requires escort by the assigned guide. Opting out forfeits tour rights and tickets without refunds.

Heightened security may cause delays during entry. Guests with pacemakers must present a certificate to bypass security screening.
  • Dress Code:
Appropriate attire is required for religious sites. Avoid sleeveless blouses, miniskirts, shorts, and hats.
  • Tour Entry Requirements:
Provide first name and surname for all entries. Failure to do so may result in denial of entry. Passport mandatory on the tour day.
  • Suggestions:
Moderate physical fitness is recommended. Wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen during summer.
  • Cloakroom:
Items larger than 40 x 35 x 15 cm must be stored. Prohibited items include suitcases, large bags, umbrellas, tripods, and signage. Shoulder bags up to 15 cm wide are permitted.
  • Accessibility:
The areas are not wheelchair accessible and may pose challenges for individuals with mobility issues.   • For the issuance of Vatican Museums tickets, providing a first name and surname is mandatory. Without this information, the ticket cannot be issued. It is also mandatory to bring your passport on the day of the tour.
  • By purchasing this tour, the customer agrees to follow only the guide assigned to him/her. It is not permitted to add external guides to the group after the tour has been purchased. We inform our customers that, in such circumstances, access to the Vatican Museums will be granted only if escorted by the assigned guide and respective group. If one chooses to opt out, they will forfeit all rights to the tour and ticket, with no possibility of a refund.

We were picked up on time from our hotel (a little earlier, actually) and driven to a meeting location, where we waited for several minutes for the tour to start. There was a cafe, so that was not a problem. Our small-group tour was able to bypass a very long line to get into the Vatican. Our tour guide was very informative and we enjoyed it very much until we got to the Sistine Chapel. At that point our tour guide informed us they were not able to go inside with us and give us information, but we saw other groups with tour guides getting info. This was confusing and also disappointing given the cost of the tour. Also, transportation back was not provided and we did not know this in advance. If you book this $$$$ tour, I think it's important to know these details.

The tour guide was very very patient, and did a great job, even though it was super hot and super crowded. I wish it were more "private" such that not as many people. Still I booked it so late, so I was happy to get in to the Vatican at all.
