This 5-day / 4-night tour takes you on an immersive journey through Italy’s most iconic destinations. Starting from Rome, travel to the medieval town of Assisi, the UNESCO-listed Siena, and the Renaissance cradle of Florence.

What awaits you:

Day 1 – Rome > Assisi > Siena > Florence
Depart early in the morning (HS - 7:15 AM / LS - 7:45 AM) from Hotel St. Martin in Rome by deluxe coach and travel to Assisi. Visit the Basilica of St. Francis and enjoy approximately 3 hours of free time to explore and have lunch. Continue by deluxe coach to Siena and spend around 2 hours exploring the city, including Piazza del Campo. Then, travel through the scenic Tuscan countryside to Florence, arriving at your hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Florence.

Day 2 – Florence (B)
Start your guided tour of Florence in the morning, visiting the Duomo, Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Basilica of Santa Croce (exterior). The tour ends in Piazza Santa Croce, followed by a couple of hours of free time for lunch and exploration. If you choose the optional visit to Pisa, follow the tour leader's instructions and return to Florence in the evening. Dinner is not included, so you can spend the evening at your leisure. Overnight in Florence.

Day 3 – Florence > Bologna > Venice (B)
Depart from your hotel in Florence in the morning and travel by deluxe coach to Bologna. Walk from Piazza Malpighi to Piazza Maggiore and admire the Basilica of San Petronio and Palazzo del Podestà. Enjoy (approx.) 3.5 hours of free time to explore the city and have lunch on your own. Continue to Venice in the afternoon, arriving in the early evening. After checking in at your hotel, relax or join the optional “Venice by Night” tour. Overnight in Venice.

Day 4 – Venice (B)
In the morning, take a boat from Tronchetto to the city center. Join a guided tour of Venice’s highlights, including Piazza San Marco, Doge’s Palace (exterior), and the Bridge of Sighs. Continue with a visit to a traditional glass factory, followed by free time to explore and have lunch. You may also choose to enjoy an optional gondola ride. Spend the afternoon discovering Venice at your own pace before returning to the hotel. Overnight in Venice.

Day 5 – Venice > Tuscany Wine Region Montepulciano > Rome (B)
Depart early in the morning from your hotel in Venice and travel through the scenic Tuscan countryside to Montepulciano. Famous for its Vino Nobile wine, Montepulciano offers the perfect setting to explore the historic center and enjoy free time for lunch (not included) and sightseeing. In the afternoon, continue by deluxe coach to Rome, arriving in the early evening. Your tour ends upon arrival in Rome.
