- Sistine Chapel: Guides cannot explain inside the chapel due to Vatican policy. They provide an overview of the chapel's art at the start of the tour, usually in the courtyard. Recommended visit time inside: 15 minutes.
- Museum Access: Your ticket allows you to stay inside the museums after the tour, until closing. The guide will finish the tour, collect radios, and direct those staying longer on where to go next.
- Heightened security may cause delays.
- Guests with pacemakers must present a certificate to bypass security screening.
- Appropriate attire is required for religious sites.
- Avoid sleeveless blouses, miniskirts, shorts, and hats.
- All participants' names must be provided
- A passport is mandatory on the tour day.
- Moderate physical fitness is recommended.
- Wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen during summer.
- Items larger than 40 x 35 x 15 cm must be stored.
- Prohibited items include suitcases, large bags, umbrellas, tripods, and signage.
