We had a very special day at Capri Island . The tour efficiently takes care of all the transportation necessary such as the coach bus, high speed ferry, and speedboat to the Grotto.We were so lucky to have the opportunity to enter the Grotto which is dependent on the sea level to enter the cave. The walls and water are Matisse/Van Gogh blue -beyond words to see; it was lovely having the fisherman sing their countrymen songs inside the Grotto. Excellent tour.

Itinerary

Tour duration: full day.

Leaving Rome by coach or mini-van, you’ll travel south, passing through Roman countryside and the Castelli Romani. In Naples, you’ll see the Mediterranean, Mount Vesuvius, and countless historic sites.

After a 1-hour ferry trip, you’ll be on the island of Capri. Discover the charming beauty of the island with our enthusiastic tour guide.

Explore the island’s famous alleys and the Piazzetta. You’ll visit the Blue Grotto, named for the blue reflection caused by sunlight shining into the sea cave.

After an afternoon touring Capri, you’ll return to Rome via Naples, arriving back in the evening.

Timetable

6:45 AM - Meet in front of Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri (near Metro A line stop Repubblica) 15 minutes before departure.
7:00 AM - Departure for Naples by coach or mini-van
Travel to Capri by ferry boat
Mid-afternoon - Explore Capri
Return to Naples by ferry
Evening - Return to Rome

The tour ends in via Enaudi in front of Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri Church, near metro A line stop Republica and metro B line stop Termini.
