Itinerary

On board of a high-speed train, you'll reach Naples city centre in just about 1.15H to enjoy your Naples city tour either in the morning or in the afternoon: your guide, an expert of the city and all of its curiosities, will be waiting for you in front of the splendid Teatro San Carlo.

This will be a unique chance for you to walk around the streets that are the beating heart of the city and your guide will take you to the places that symbolize the eternal bond between Maradona and the city of Naples.
Your walking tour will start from Piazza Plebiscito, and then continue passing through the Gallery Umberto I, reaching the famous Spanish Quarters. Every corner, every street and every glimpse of this city will testify the deep love of this incredible city and its people for Maradona.

He was unanimously considered a hero, the one who brought the first championship trophy to the city and the name of Naples up in the world. Everywhere you went, it was Diego-mania. The entire city of Naples testifies to the passage of the "Pibe de Oro".
Maradona was practically everywhere: from the murals on the city walls, to the fireworks called “Maradona's balloons”; from all kinds of gadgets and souvenirs, to cakes with his face; from the poems dedicated to him, up to the statuettes of the Neapolitan nativity scene.
He has surely been among the few immortal sports icons who were able to create a true phenomenon of custom, to drag the masses and to make people of any nationality mad with joy. In Naples, thanks to the street art, there is now a magnificent museum dedicated to him. An open-air one, and you now have the opportunity to visit it with our guides!
Thanks to this tour you will visit two of the must-see destinations for any aficionado of Napoli’s number 10: Vico Lungo Gelso and Piazza Maradona in via Emanuele De Deo. Here, in fact, you will admire, in all their majesty and reverence, the most famous murals dedicated to Pibe de Oro.

You will admire a ceramic mosaic, donated by two Italian-French artists and the stencil made by the Argentinian street artist San Spiga, created to celebrate the 30 years’ anniversary of the first championship won by Napoli and Maradona.
Next to this, another full-length stencil representing Maradona when dribbling, with the well-known ability and excellent technique.
Continuing our walk in via Emanuele de Deo (piazzetta Diego Armando Maradona), we will admire the famous mural that has become a real destination pilgrimage for supporters and fans, dedicated to the champion on the occasion of the second Napoli's scudetto, won in 1990.

Before the tour starts, or at the end, depending on the day booked, free time to discover other wonders of the city, taste the famous Neapolitan pizza or a glass of Limoncello.
At the scheduled time, get ready to take your train back to Rome, full of precious memories about your unforgettable visit with us!

  • Piazza del Plebiscito
  • Galleria Umberto I
  • Quartieri Spagnoli
  • Vico Lungo Gelso
