Appropriate attire is required for religious sites. Avoid sleeveless blouses, miniskirts, shorts, and hats.

Moderate physical fitness is recommended. Wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen during summer.

Guide was excellent, tour was interesting but the venue was very crowded.

We had a fantastic tour guide. Her genuine knowledge of the topic and passion for the history made the tour really come to life and helped us understand the history of this amazing site.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and took her time to explain as much as possible. The group was roughly 20 people but the headphones allowed you to listen from a distance. The crowds of tourists that flock here are massive so a pre booked tour is a must as you skip the very long queues. After the tour we were able to stay and go to the shops and go back to the churches etc. Plenty of walking and standing so wear comfortable clothes and shoes. I wore cargo shorts and T-shirt and that was the normal attire as it was 28°C. No photos inside the Sistine chapel but everywhere else is okay to photograph.

Great tour, our guide was very informative and the headphone/speaker system worked well. It is a very efficient way to see the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and Basilica in 3 hours. She also left us in the Basilica so we could explore on our own and exit at our leisure which was nice. I would recommend this tour.
